> How to Make A Stencil [Greg Gandy & Cody Pop ]

There is more than one way to make a stencil.
This is my way. You should experiment and come up with a way that is best for you.

greg cody
Cody Pope and I are going to show you how to make some super sweet stencils.

First look for a super awesome picture on google.

an alligator will work.

The pope?

High-five.

While you are online, you might as well check your facebook.

Bring your picture into photoshop and get rid of the background color to leave only the image you want to show through.

Then mess around with the different filters until you find one that works for you.
This will take some experimenting and patience.

add some text if you want

I have found that if you just use straight paper, it gets soggy and can’t be used over and over again. So if you want a reusable stencil, cover the backside of the paper with a glue stick or spray adhesive (the spray works better but is expensive).

Let Cody Pope rub on it for good luck.

Cover the entire stencil (front and back) in packaging tape for even more durability.

Cut out all the grey/black area with an exacto-knife

Go crazy with it, and have some fun. THE BIGGER THE BETTER.
