mixedCore is simply an open community. It is not a exclusive cult or group that is behind closed doors. If you want to be part of this community, or just simply agree and support the ideology behind it, you can call yourself a contributor. However, a contributor should do exactly that, contribute in some way. mixedCore is here to provide young, urban artists a hub for artistic and creative resources found around the city as well as featuring each other's original artwork on the site. As a contributor, you currently are allowed to submit up to FIVE pieces of artwork to be featured in your respective medium. Follow the steps below to submit your artwork to be used for mixedCore. Of course, by submiting your artwork, you turn over the rights to mixedCore to use, distribute, and copy your digital images. The original piece however, is all yours. *Anyone is allowed to submit artwork for the mixedCore site as long as you live in central Mississippi and are currently under 21. We focus on urban art but are not restricting submissions to that. |

Attach your digital artwork in an email to ART@MIXEDCORE.COM - Artwork should be JPG; 72 dpi; 500px in height; any width Your artwork can be in any medium; painting, sculpture, drawing, video, fabrics, printmaking, bookmaking, mixedmedia... whatever. As long as we get it in digital format, we can post it in the galleries. *Please make sure your artwork is site appropriate. (No offensive content; subjects photographed may need to send consent) |
